Internet Safety and Cyberbullying Plan

                   Marion Center Area School District
Internet Safety and Cyberbullying Plan K-12

To the greatest extent possible, users of the network will be protected from harassment or unwanted or unsolicited communication. The school district intends to strictly protect its network against numerous outside and internal risks and vulnerabilities. Users are important and critical players in protecting the network and in lessening the risks that can destroy these important and critical assets.
Any network user who receives threatening or unwelcome communications shall immediately bring them to the attention of a teacher or administrator. Network users shall not reveal personal addresses or telephone numbers to other users on the network.

In addition, the school district will educate all students about appropriate online behavior, including interacting with other individuals on social networking websites and in chat rooms and cyber bullying awareness and response.
