School District Hiring Policy

The Marion Center Area School Board of Directors has adopted a District Hiring Policy aligned with state statutes. In -accordance with the Marion Center Area School District's Hiring Policies and Procedures applications will only be accepted if and when an opening exists and shall be kept on file until the position is filled. Marion Center Area School District will no longer maintain an on-going active file of applicants. Advertising for a specific opening will create an applicant pool when an open position occurs within the district.

Substitute Guest Teachers

The Marion Center Area School District is seeking individuals with a Bachelor's degree to substitute teach.  If you have a bachelor's degree, like working with children, and are looking for a way to earn money, please contact the Education Office at 724-397-5551 Ext. 5408 for more information.  If you are looking for an employment option that is flexible and matches your child's schedule, this is it. 

Day-To-Day Substitutes

The Marion Center School District is actively seeking highly qualified individuals for day-to-day substitute positions for Teachers, Secretaries, Instructional Assistants, LPNs/RNs, Food Service, and Custodial positions.  Learn More & Apply
