School District Hiring Policy

The Marion Center Area School Board of Directors has adopted a District Hiring Policy aligned with state statutes. In -accordance with the Marion Center Area School District's Hiring Policies and Procedures applications will only be accepted if and when an opening exists and shall be kept on file until the position is filled. Marion Center Area School District will no longer maintain an on-going active file of applicants. Advertising for a specific opening will create an applicant pool when an open position occurs within the district.

Open Positions

Marion Center Area School District is seeking applicants for a Mid-Level or 7-12 Mathematics/Special Education Position.   Applicants must provide PA Standard application, Resume, PA Teaching certificate or Act 36 letter, Transcripts, Praxis scores, three letters of recommendation, Act 114, Act 151 and Act 34 Clearances, Health Certificate and Tb test results.  Applicants must have a Mid-level Math certification (grades 7/8) and a K-8 or K-12 Special Education certification. Applications will be accepted at the Central Office or submitted through PA Educator.

 

The Marion Center Area School District is seeking applicants for a part-time High School Life Skills Teacher.  Hours would be from 11:10 to 3:10.  Applicants must provide PA Standard application, Resume, PA Teaching certificate or Act 36 letter, Transcripts, Praxis scores, three letters of recommendation, Act 114, Act 151 and Act 34 Clearances, Health Certificate and Tb test results.  Candidates must have a K-12 Special Education Certificate.  Experience with Applied Behavior Analysis is a plus. Applications will be accepted at the Central Office or submitted through PA Educator.

Substitute Guest Teachers
