Substitute Information
Application requirements for persons who wish to substitute within the MCASD:
Professional Staff:
Cover Letter stating interest in day-to-day substituting
Standard PA Application
Copy of your current PA Teaching Certificate
Copy of your Child Abuse, State Police, and FBI Clearances current within one year
Three letters of reference
Copy of your transcripts and/or Praxsis Scores
Physical and TB Test current within one year
Support Staff (Secretarial, Instructional Assistants, LPN, Food Service, Custodial)
Cover Letter stating interest in day-to-day substituting
MCASD Application
Copy of your Child Abuse, State Police, and FBI Clearances current within one year
Three letters of reference
Physical and TB Test current within one year

Upon receipt of application an interview will be scheduled. All applicants that are recommended for the substitute list must be board approved prior to the first day of subbing.
